In this sculpture workshop, participants will make casts of their own hands or other body parts while learning the basics of casting techniques. The finished objects will form a temporary collective art exhibition, and everyone will be able to take their cast home after the event. The workshop may also include short conversations about physicality and the body in circus arts. The starting point is to consider the body not only as a tool of the trade but also as a means of artistic expression. The workshop thus combines practical exploration of sculptural techniques with collective reflection on the role of the body in circus art.

The KuMy duo (Marcin Borkowski and Krzysztof Pacholik), the best of the cheapest, invite you to the world’s first presentation of their juggling work-in-progress performance, “Apnea”. This latest experiment by artists from the Sztukmistrze Foundation exists thanks to the ability to breathe through a nose, a balloon and a garden hose. Come along, watch and share your impressions!
The project is part of the MORE mentoring programme, run by the Onetwomany collective and funded
by the Visegrad Fund.

The performance, provisionally titled “Too Much on My Mind” (Za dużo na głowie), is a solo juggling project combining object manipulation, improvisation, monologue and clowning. Taking the audience through the stages of a day, from morning to the lyrical boundary between waking and dreaming, the artist tries to find a balance between work and passion. The absurdity of everyday situations, humour and intense juggling come together in a story about life in a constant rush.
