“Rapprochons-nous” is a short form for three operators and 20 radios. The setup is stripped-down yet carefully constructed. The gestures are rare and demanding. The space is subjective and shared. Time is limited yet stretches gently. We start from ourselves, from our perception of the world and our basic vital needs. We observe and act. “Rapprochons-nous” is a meeting point, an invitation to give ourselves time, to consider ourselves unique. Unique and unpretentious. Unique and common. Unique and insignificant. No one is irreplaceable, therefore everyone is essential.
